Sailing The World While Building a SaaS Business: This Guy Did It

Hi everyone,

I have a cool story to share with you today. This is about business, but this is also about inspiration.

This proves (once again) that if you really want to do something, you can always find a way.

Today’s story is about a couple.

Both of them had day jobs.

The guy was working in finance, and the girl had a government job. They were happy.

But there was a problem.

They couldn’t find enough time to travel.

They wondered, Is there a way we can build something that will allow us to travel more?

They started brainstorming.

What is the universal pain that everyone experiences?

They kept thinking, and finally, they found an idea.

Hey, nobody loves receiving unnecessary emails. But unsubscribing to each one of them is a pain.

They immediately hired a developer from India using Upwork and they created:

Leave Me Alone

A service that helps you unsubscribe from emails easily.

Yes, that’s the service.

How did they market it?

Twitter ads + lots and lots of organic marketing (posting everywhere about it, every day).

That’s it.

This business now makes $7500/month, and they now travel all the time.

Yes, the business does not make millions. But not every business needs to make millions.

Some can do fine with $7500/month.

Sometimes, we think so big that we can’t even start.

Don’t let your dream be an obstacle—that’s the moral of this story.

And creating a SaaS business is easier than you think.

Step 1: Idea (Find a problem that’s unique yet easy to solve.)

Step 2: Hire a team to build a simple version (I like Upwork).

Step 3: Market on Twitter (don’t go to Facebook or Instagram). Start with Twitter if it is a SaaS.

That’s it.

Thank You
